Sequenza Ensemble presents a virtuosic Art Song programme of rarely-heard timbres, on the timeless themes of love, loss, birdsong, and innocence.
Featuring Tasmanian composers Ralph Middenway, Helen Thomson (who is also Sequenza’s vocalist), and Janina Evangelou, and words by Tasmania’s own Adrienne Eberhard
Interspersed with troubadour and sacred repertoire from the Medieval and Renaissance periods, to put the composers’ inspiration into a musical context.
