What is in the workshop package?
If you participate in the workshop you will have the opportunity to perform in the evening concert event and again on the following morning at the Farmers’ Market in Bathurst Street.
Both performances will include beautiful songs from Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia and all of the workshop participants will feature in three of the pieces presented.
If you don’t want to perform at the concert, your workshop ticket includes a free ticket to the concert.
About Lyndall Edwards
Lyndall Edwards began her voice studies in Hobart and completed them at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. She has been conducting community choirs for over twenty years and has conducted the Hobart choir, Sisongke, for nine of those years.
Singing can be a daunting process for many of us. Lyndall is able to help you let go and sing without you even realising it – and you’ll probably laugh a lot along the way. Beginners may find themselves going from zero to vocal hero over the course of the day, and more experienced singers will find new tricks and tools to add to their vocal collection.
Everything that Lyndall teaches can be used in other ways, including easing anxiety, speaking more confidently in public and to gain postural and physical confidence.
