Rebecca Coote’s background in sculpture has influenced this new body of installation-based printmaking, exploring her connection to landscape. Inspired by her local landscape of Pipe Clay Lagoon and the surrounding south eastern Tasmanian coastline, Rebecca has layered and constructed prints into small worlds. Referencing her native garden they have morphed and expanded into seed like forms that encapsulate the landscape within them.
