Through painting Between spaces will investigate the house museum environment, drawing on local Tasmanian sites. The house museum offers a unique space explore loss, longing and uncertainty.
The spaces are both real and interpreted, drawing on physical and verbal evidence. They endeavour to represent the past, reflecting on those who lived in the spaces, their lives and interests, from traces left behind. These spaces are no longer a functional home but spaces in stasis, preserved to provide a window on human experience and architectural heritage.
