Clarence Jazz Festival is an 8 day music festival from the 16 – 23 February that brings the Eastern Shore to life during the warm evenings of late summer.

Brian Ritchie Trio (US/TAS) ~ Clarence Jazz Festival
Brian Ritchie is the curator of MONA FOMA and the former bass guitarist for the alternative rock band Violent Femmes. In addition to his bass playing, Ritchie is a master shakuhachi player, a Japanese bamboo flute.
For the Clarence Jazz Festival he will perform with Konrad Park – an innovative and free-spirited percussion whirlwind – along with Blaise Garza – touring member of Violent Femmes and Contrabass Saxophone – & Bb Tubeax guru. Together, the things they discover in their collective mind are just as important as what they’re playing in the material plane.
