Clarence Jazz Festival 2021: Master Classes ~ Spike Mason Jazz Improvisation

This year we are introducing mind-melting masterclasses to the Clarence Jazz Festival 2021 program, offering participants the opportunity to delve deep into jazz with one of Tasmania’s jazz masters. Master classes will be open to musicians of any level for an intensive 90 minutes of music within the beautiful sandstone walls of Rosny Barn.

• Spike Mason Jazz Improvisation Masterclass – How to improvise a melody over jazz changes. Catering for jazz musicians ranging from beginners to professionals. Brass players, woodwinds, vocalists or any melodic instrument… Participants are encouraged to bring their instrument and join in.
