History Talk
Shipwrecks, Semaphore and a Spritual Labyrinth
Shipwrecks, semaphore and a spiritual labyrinth!
This walk will take us through the Blessington Coastal reserve and up to the Potters Hill Labyrinth, an extraordinary spot with views that reach almost to the ocean. With storytellers Michael Topfer and Alan Townsend, be assured of a good ramble through the scenery and history of South Arm.
We will meet at the South Arm Community Centre. This walk is of moderate difficulty with a brief steep section. Bring a water bottle and some snacks to enjoy at one of the various stops we make along the way. Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots recommended.
A second walk has now been added on the 15th of June at 11am.
