Applications for Clarence Jazz Festival 2021
Applications are now open to participate in the Clarence Jazz Festival 2021 for its 25th year celebration. The Festival is a 7 day event that brings Hobart’s Eastern Shore to life during the warm evenings of late summer.
The Festival’s core focus for 2021 is on COVID-19 recovery by supporting local Tasmanian artists, new project ideas and boundary-pushing jazz with an inclusive and diverse selection of music. Clarence Arts and Events team plan to develop a new series of workshops and masterclasses for the community and have created a ‘New Project Investment’ initiative to support ‘big ideas’ and ‘new works in development’ by talented artists and producers to showcase.
There are four categories to apply for:
- Artist/Band/Ensemble
- New Project Investment
- Run a Workshop or Masterclass
- School/College/University performance or project
The Festival will run for 7 days from Wednesday February 17th through to Tuesday 23rd of February, 2021.
Expressions of Interest applications close on Sunday 13th of September.
