Dog’s Day Out 2023

Who let the dogs out? We did!

The wildly-popular Dog’s Day Out is back, and your furry friend is invited!

From staffies to sausage dogs, poodles to pugs, and from shepherds to shih-tzus – all dogs, and their humans, are invited to come on down to Simmons Park in Lindisfarne on Sunday 1 October from 11am – 2pm and enjoy a fur-family-friendly day jam-packed with fun activities, competitions, stalls, and more.

There will be treats and prizes for best-on-day and dress up, agility, and behaviour contests, as well as the inaugural ‘fur fly’ in the Dachshund race!

This year we will have not one but two delightful face painting experts there, a craft stall for activities for the kids, and even an extra category to compete in!

Lions Club of Clarence will be there with their tasty BBQ, and we have Ikegai coffee van, and because you asked for it – Wattlebanks catering will be serving up delectable fish and chips!

Please note, all dogs must be on a lead throughout the event. Dogs will not be allowed in the playground area.
