Legend, Lore and Love: Shiloh Longbottom

Shiloh Longbottom’s exhibition is an exploration into the portrayal of women in traditional folk and fairy tales. The artist seeks to change conventional assumptions; drawing out the free agency and courage of the actors within the tales, as well as celebrating femininity in its diverse expressions. The artist will depict scenes, as well as create her own interpretations and adventures. The works will be an invitation for the viewer to be immersed in these mysterious and primal worlds.
