Festival of Voices presents: Melody Moko
Melody was destined to be a singer songwriter. She grew up in a house full of 7,000 records and was named after a 1976 Rolling stones song. As a child her most formative musical education was playing in music festivals across Australia. As a teenager she was already writing award winning songs and wanting to “sing like Linda Ronstadt and write like Bob Dylan.” Melody is an Americana artist who is not afraid to push the limits of the genre, inspired by Brandi Carlile and Kathleen Edwards, she shakes off the doom and gloom and brings vibrancy to any stage she steps upon. Melody will get your toes tapping!
