The Pet Project Workshop
Do you have a much loved pet that you would like to capture in a painting?
The School of Creative Arts and Media at the University of Tasmania, in partnership with Rosny Farm Arts Centre, are offering a free hands-on workshop in pet portraiture. This workshop will guide you through the process of creating a portrait of your much loved pet.
The workshop will introduce you to techniques of pet portraiture from start to finish and will include translating a preliminary drawing into a charismatic pet portrait in paint.
No experience is necessary other than an appetite for creative expression and a willingness to share stories of the special relationship that you have with your pet.
Due to an overwhelming response, we will be running another workshop on Saturday 5th June 2021
